Pop star sensation Ariana Grande will play Glinda. Grande began her career on Broadway in the musical “13” . Cynthia Erivo will be Defying Gravity as the one and only Elphaba. She won a Tony Award for Best Actress as Celie Harris Johnson in the 2013 revival of The Color Purple.

Wicked is set to begin filming 2022.
